A South Yorkshire-based artificial intelligence (AI) platform that aims to help global food and beverage companies cut downtime and boost productivity has completed an initial fundraising with venture capital funding and support from Yorkshire AI Labs.
IntelliAM is led by chief executive Tom Clayton, founder of UK maintenance engineering and asset management specialist 53North, and chairman David Richards, the UK-US technology entrepreneur and managing partner of Yorkshire AI Labs.
Professor Keith Ridgway, founder of the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre at the University of Sheffield, is board member and parliamentary adviser.
